The BC Racing HM coilover kit M3 M4 F80 5-bolt (part number I-68-HM) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW M3 F80 and M4 F82 with rear-wheel drive and front top mounts with 5 bolts, model years 2014 to 2020. The spring rate is 6 kg/mm front and 12 kg/mm rear.

The HM series brings together the technology of the BC Racing RM and ER. The result is an inverted monotube on MacPherson struts with a dual piston and an external reservoir containing the second piston, connected with PTFE-coated steel-braided lines.

You set compression and rebound independently, each in 30 clicks, and the damping is digressive with synthetic oil. This HM is intended for serious track use with an M3 F80 or M4 F82 whose front top mount is secured with 5 bolts.

Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic, and check beforehand that the front top mount is secured with 5 bolts. BC Racing advises periodic greasing of the HM series and recommends it less for road use than the BR, DS, ER or ZX. When positioning the reservoirs, make sure the steel-braided lines have a clear route, and have the wheel alignment redone after adjustment. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If BC Racing temporarily does not have the HM in stock, you can still order and we will tell you the expected delivery date.
