Description
The MTS Street Caddy 3 Gold is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Volkswagen Caddy 3/4, model years 2004 to 2020. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use.
On the Gold version, the steel parts have a yellow zinc coating and the aluminium parts are black anodised.

Fitting and delivery
The MTS Street Caddy 3 Gold replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- Only for cars with a single leaf spring at the rear.
- If the car has a double rear leaf spring, it must be converted to a single leaf spring: VW Caddy 3 (up to 05/2015) 2K5 511 151 N, VW Caddy 4 (from 05/2015) 2K5 511 151 AA, VW Caddy Maxi 2K3 511 151 E.
- The rear height adjustment must be fitted exactly as described in the manual.
- After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

Does this kit also fit a four-wheel-drive (4Motion) version?
No. The MTS Street Caddy 3 Gold is not suitable for the four-wheel-drive versions.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
