The MTS Street E91 E93 Inox is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the BMW 3-series E91 and E93, model years 2004 to 2013. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.
On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Note for the MTS Street E91 E93 Inox: not suitable for versions with four-wheel drive (xDrive). Only for cars without level control (NIVO) or factory air suspension. Axle load: maximum 1090 kg front and maximum 1200 kg rear; check your car’s vehicle type plate.

Fitting and delivery
The MTS Street E91 E93 Inox replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- Tip for adjusting the rear: remove the height adjuster, set the spring seat to the new position and refit the adjuster.
- Sometimes extra original parts are needed for fitting; these are not included in the set.
- After fitting the MTS Street E91 E93 Inox, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

Does this kit also fit a four-wheel-drive (xDrive) version?
No. The MTS Street E91 E93 Inox is made for the rear-wheel-drive versions. MTS Technik has separate kits for the xDrive versions.
What is the difference between Comfort, Street and Stance?
All versions use the same dampers; the difference lies in the Eibach springs and the lowering range: Comfort (24-47.5 and 100 N/mm), Street (60 and 100 N/mm) and Stance (70 and 120 N/mm). Comfort is the softest. Street is the standard. Stance is the firmest and the lowest.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
