The DriftMax Basic lock kit E30 takes the steering angle of your BMW 3 Series E30 to a maximum of 60°, without you having to modify the steering rack, suspension or brakes. The kit is plug-and-play and made for drifters who are just starting out and for drivers who do the occasional track day.

Where the complete DriftMax kit comes with its own hubs and bearings, this Basic version uses steering lock adapters. That keeps the price low, while you still get the larger steering angle and the Ackermann effect disappears. Want more later? Then you upgrade the kit to the Pro version by buying just the hubs.

DriftMax makes the parts in Europe from high-grade materials, with special ball joints and a reinforced construction that can handle intensive drift and track use.

Installation and delivery

The components go in place of the original parts, without any modifications to the car. All bolts and brackets for the installation are included in the kit. Because the front axle geometry changes, the wheel alignment must be reset after installation. The Basic lock kit E30 has a delivery time of 4 to 7 days.
