The big brake kit Peugeot 206 with 330 mm discs is the largest V-Maxx brake kit for the 206, 206 CC and 206 SW: 330 mm two-piece brake discs with 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium on the front axle. The kit is supplied ready to fit, including V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters that the original rubber brake hoses connect to.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit Peugeot 206 according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and use the tightening torques stated in them. The kit only fits a 206 with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with a mild soap; wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium and must not be used. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

As options, we supply V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (370 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads without TÜV approval. The calipers are red (RAL 3020) as standard and also available in black, blue or yellow at extra cost. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

The big brake kit Peugeot 206 with 330 mm discs (20 PE330 07) fits the 206, 206 CC and 206 SW from 40 to 130 kW and requires wheels of at least 17 inch; with this kit you also choose the caliper colour, and Ferodo DS pads are available. The 290 mm kit (20 PE290 02) already fits wheels from 15 inch and also fits the 206+.

Is the big brake kit Peugeot 206 suitable for a car with more power than standard?

Yes, definitely. A Peugeot 206 with more power than standard benefits most from this kit: 330 mm discs and 4-piston calipers give more braking power and much less fade. The kW limits in the application list refer to the original factory output, and with an officially approved power upgrade the TÜV approval remains valid.

Which caliper colours are available?

Red (RAL 3020) as standard. At extra cost, V-Maxx also supplies the calipers in black, blue or yellow.

Is it normal for the brake pads to click?

Yes. V-Maxx deliberately gives the pads 1 to 1.5 mm of play so they do not seize at high temperatures. As a result, you hear a short click when you change direction of travel.
