Description
Ford Puma V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 330 mm 4-piston (120 mm caliper mounting)
This big brake kit Puma from V-Maxx is the brake kit for the Ford Puma (J2K) from 09-2019 with 120 mm caliper mounting hole spacing, for all versions from 70 to 147 kW. The kit combines 330 mm two-piece, grooved brake discs with 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium and comes ready to fit.
With up to 147 kW, the Puma is a quick compact crossover, and during spirited driving or repeated hard braking the original brakes heat up quickly. This kit gives more braking power and keeps the braking behaviour consistent for longer. The delivery includes V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and adapters for the original rubber brake hoses. V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and the kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, so it is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery
Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied, using the tightening torques stated in them. The kit is only suitable for cars with original steering knuckles; check the caliper mounting hole spacing beforehand. Clean the brake kit with a mild soap and not with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.
Options: V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses 420 mm with M10x1.5 connection (set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set, a different caliper colour (red RAL 3020 as standard; black, blue or yellow at extra cost) and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads (without TÜV approval). Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
330 mm discs and forged 4-piston calipers on a compact crossover: with them, the Ford Puma keeps braking consistently even after repeated hard stops.
Why choose this big brake kit Puma?
This kit is all about consistent braking behaviour. The caliper, bracket and bell are made of aluminium, which conducts heat about five times better than steel, and the discs have directional cooling channels. As a result, the kit cools down quickly and the pedal stays the same even after a series of hard stops. The kit has TÜV approval, comes complete and you get a 2-year warranty from a Dutch manufacturer.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know whether I need the 120 mm or the 140 mm kit?
Look at the caliper mounting hole spacing and the steering knuckle. This kit (20 FO330 21) is for versions with 120 mm hole spacing and not for the reinforced suspension (steering knuckle no. 2480640 / 642). For the Puma with reinforced suspension and 140 mm hole spacing, there is 20 FO330 23.
Which wheels do I need for the big brake kit Puma?
The big brake kit Puma requires wheels of at least 17 inch. Check the clearance with the fitment template (WFC); a wheel spacer is sometimes required.
Can I use this kit on public roads?
Yes. The kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and is therefore approved for use on public roads.
Is the big brake kit Puma suitable for a car with more power than standard?
Yes, definitely. A Puma with more power than standard benefits most from this kit: 330 mm discs and 4-piston calipers give more braking power and much less fade. The kW limits in the application list refer to the original factory output, and with an officially approved power upgrade the TÜV approval remains valid.
What is the delivery time?
