The BC Racing BR coilover kit RX-8 (part number N-05-BR-RS) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Mazda RX-8 SE3P, model years 2003 to 2012. The spring rate is 8 kg/mm front and 6 kg/mm rear.
The BR series is the all-rounder from BC Racing and suits an RX-8 that is driven every day and occasionally does a track day or autocross. The monotube dampers work with a linear piston, you adjust the damping in 30 clicks and you set the ride height independently of the spring preload.
The RX-8 has a sporty chassis, but on worn dampers the car starts to bob and leans more in fast corners. With this kit it sits firmly on the road again and you choose the ride height yourself. BC Racing UK lists this 8/6 kg/mm version as the recommended BR kit for the RX-8.

Fitting and delivery
