The BC Racing ER coilover kit M2 Competition (part number I-98-ER) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW M2 Competition F87, model years 2018 to 2021. The spring rate is 10 kg/mm front and 18 kg/mm rear.
The ER series is BC Racing’s 2-way coilover kit for serious track and competition use. For the M2 Competition it comes with springs of 10 kg/mm front and 18 kg/mm rear, considerably firmer than the 6/12 kg/mm of the BR, DS and ZX kits for this car.
You adjust compression and rebound independently of each other, each in 30 clicks. The monotube dampers have a double piston and an external reservoir, work digressively and are filled with fully synthetic oil with a very high viscosity index. A check valve is optional.
