The BC Racing ER coilover kit M2 True Rear (part number I-143-ER) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW M2 F87, model years 2016 to 2018, in True Rear version. The spring rate is 6 kg/mm front and 6 kg/mm rear.

The ER series is BC Racing’s 2-way adjustable coilover kit with external reservoir, made for serious track and competition use. You set compression and rebound each in 30 clicks, independently of each other, so you can tune the M2 precisely to the circuit and the tyres.

The dampers are monotube with a double piston, digressive and filled with fully synthetic oil with a very high viscosity index. As a True Rear version, the rear of the M2 F87 is also a coilover with the spring around the damper.

Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. Please note: BC Racing requires the body shell to be reinforced before a True Rear kit is fitted. After adjusting the ride height, have the alignment re-measured; then set up compression and rebound step by step on a test day. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If the kit is not immediately available from BC Racing, you can still order it and we will keep you informed.

What is the difference between the BC Racing ER and ZX True Rear coilover kits for the BMW M2 F87?

The ER is 2-way adjustable, the ZX 3-way. In addition to rebound, the ZX has separate compression settings for low and high speed (20 and 12 clicks). The ER coilover kit M2 True Rear is intended for serious track use, the ZX for competition, long sessions and demanding drifting.

Can I adjust the ride height of the BC Racing ER True Rear coilover kit on my BMW M2 F87 infinitely?

Yes, the ride height is infinitely adjustable via the damper body, and thanks to the True Rear design at the rear as well. Always have the alignment re-measured after adjusting.
