The BC Racing RM coilover kit M2 Competition 6/14 (part number I-98-RM-MA) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW M2 Competition F87, model years 2018 to 2021. The spring rate is 6 kg/mm front and 14 kg/mm rear.

This RM version for the M2 Competition has a firmer rear spring of 14 kg/mm, compared with 12 kg/mm on the 6/12 version. The BC Racing part number is I-98-RM-MA for both; only the spring combination differs.

The RM series is intended for track days, hill climbs and tarmac rally. On MacPherson struts there is an inverted monotube damper, on other suspension types an upright one; the piston is digressive and the oil fully synthetic with a very high viscosity index. At the front the kit has pillowball top mounts or camber plates (code MA).

Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. BC Racing advises periodic greasing of the RM and ZR series and recommends them less for road use than the BR, DS, ER or ZX. After setting the ride height, have the wheel alignment reset. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If BC Racing temporarily does not have this 6/14 version in stock, you can still order and we will let you know the expected delivery date.
