The BC Racing ZR coilover kit M3 M4 F80 5-bolt (part number I-68-ZR) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW M3 F80 and M4 F82 with rear-wheel drive and front top mounts with 5 bolts, model years 2014 to 2020. The spring rate is 6 kg/mm front and 13 kg/mm rear.

The ZR is the BC Racing series for competitive motorsport. With 3-way adjustment, a dual piston, steel-braided lines and an external reservoir that you mount on the body or the damper body, the kit is made for an M3 or M4 that is set up at competition level.

On MacPherson struts, BC Racing builds the ZR as an inverted monotube, on double wishbones as an upright monotube. The ride height can be adjusted completely independently of the spring preload. This version is for the F80 and F82 with a 5-bolt front top mount.

Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic, and check beforehand that the front top mount is secured with 5 bolts. BC Racing advises periodic greasing of the RM and ZR series and recommends them less for road use than the BR, DS, ER or ZX. After setting the ride height, a new wheel alignment is part of the job. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If the ZR is temporarily out of stock at the manufacturer, you can still order and we will keep you informed of the delivery date.
