With this E46 steel floor, you lay a flat, sturdy base in the interior of your BMW 3 Series E46. The original floor is full of ridges, bumps and recesses that you normally do not notice under the carpet. Take the carpet out for a race or drift project and you suddenly find yourself standing on an uneven surface. This plate solves that.

The floor plate is intended for the driver and passenger in cars for drifting, rallying, time attack and the 1/4 mile. Your feet get a fixed place again, so the throttle, brake and clutch can be operated just as precisely as in a car with full trim.

Installation and delivery

You lay the E46 steel floor on the bare floor pan and secure it through the tabs along the edge. Whether you use pop rivets, self-tapping screws or nuts and bolts for this is up to you. The job is simple and requires no welding.

Tip from the workshop: drill a small hole first and check under the car that no brake or fuel lines run there. Paint the drill holes with an anti-rust product afterwards. The photos of the plate fitted in the car show a sample in stainless steel. What you receive is the black powder-coated E46 steel floor with grip tape.
