The BC Racing BR coilover kit Z4 M (part number I-22-BR-RA) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW Z4 M (E85), model years 2006 to 2008. The spring rate is 5 kg/mm front and 8 kg/mm rear.

At BC Racing the Z4 M has its own part number, separate from the regular Z4 E85. This BR kit is therefore intended specifically for the Z4 M Roadster; when ordering, make sure you do not choose the kit for the regular Z4.

As an all-round series, the BR suits a Z4 M that is mainly driven on the road and does the occasional track day or autocross. The monotube dampers with linear piston, the 30-click damping adjustment and the ride height that you set independently of the spring preload put you in control of how the car sits on the road.

Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific for the Z4 M and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. On some cars the pillowball top mount at the front requires a small modification to the upper mounting; if in doubt, contact us. Have the wheel alignment reset after adjusting the height. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If BC Racing temporarily has the kit out of stock, you can still order and we will keep you informed of the delivery date.

That has not been confirmed. BC Racing UK lists this kit for the rear-wheel-drive Z4 M E85, model years 2006 to 2008; the Z4 M Coupe (E86) is not mentioned there. If you have a Coupe, please contact us before ordering.

What is the difference between the BC Racing BR and DS for the Z4 M?

The BR coilover kit Z4 M has a linear piston and is intended for the road with the occasional track day, the DS has a digressive piston and is more track-focused. For the Z4 M, both have 5/8 kg/mm and 30 clicks.
