The BC Racing ZX coilover kit M3 E92 (part number I-39-ZX) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW M3 E90 and E92 without EDC, model years 2006 to 2013. The spring rate is 6 kg/mm front and 12 kg/mm rear.

The ZX is the 3-way coilover kit from BC Racing which, according to the manufacturer, combines the DS and the ER. It is made for competitive track work, long sessions and demanding drifting, and this version is intended for the M3 E90 and E92 without EDC.

In the upright monotube with twin piston and external reservoir, you set 20 clicks of low-speed compression, 12 clicks of high-speed compression and 30 clicks of rebound. At the front there is a 6 kg/mm spring, at the rear a 12 kg/mm one.

Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by a mechanic with experience in motorsport suspension, also for positioning the reservoirs. According to BC Racing UK, this version may require a plug-in kit to prevent an error message; feel free to ask us for advice. After adjusting the ride height, a new wheel alignment is required. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If there is no stock, you can still order and we will let you know when the kit comes in.
