DriftMax lock adapters E36 non-M for 30% more steering angle

With the DriftMax lock adapters E36 non-M your BMW E36 gets around 30% more steering angle. The adapters are CNC-machined from billet aluminium and are bolted between the knuckle, the control arm and the tie rod.

Important to know in advance: these adapters require E46 control arms. With those control arms in place, installation is fairly straightforward, although a small modification may be needed.

The adapters are designed for the E36 without M knuckles, but they also work if you have fitted non-M3 knuckles to an M3, or on an E30 that has been converted to E36 knuckles.

Installation and delivery

First fit the E46 control arms, then bolt the adapters between the knuckle, the control arm and the tie rod. Allow for a small modification here and there and redo the wheel alignment after fitting. The lock adapters E36 non-M have a lead time of 4 to 7 days.
